Each fisherman has, in addition to fishing rods, other important tackle - nets. Most fishermen prefer nets that are installed overnight. In the morning, they check the catch and plant a new bait. When fishing with a net, it becomes possible to catch a lot of fish at once. You can buy a net in a fishing shop, but experienced fishermen weave it themselves, using their secrets of skill.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a shuttle and a template for weaving. The shuttle can be made of wood, plastic or metal. For thin threads, a shuttle 2 cm wide is needed, its length is approximately 20 cm. A rectangular plate serves as a template - you will use it to adjust the mesh size. The length of the template is 10-15 cm, and the width of the board should be equal to the width of the cells.
Step 2
Use a single network node - this is the simplest type of node available. To do this, put a nylon thread about 20 m long on the hook, make a loop at the end of the thread and tie a knot. Take a nail, hammer it into any support, such as a wall. Drive in the nail at eye level, provided that you are sitting. Hook the loop made at the end of the thread to the nail and tie the knot tightly.
Step 3
So, on one side of the nail you have a loop hanging down, and on the other there is a nylon thread leading to your shuttle. Place the shuttle in your right hand and hold the template with your left hand. Place the end of the thread going to the hook from the nail on the board. Now pull down the hook from the back of the template so that the thread is pulled over the back edge of the template. Insert the tip of the hook into the loop from bottom to top and drag it over the loop.
Step 4
Pull the shuttle back towards you by pulling the loop to the front edge of the template board. Note that during the weaving process, the thread is placed on the template three times: from the top, from the bottom, and then from the top again in the direction from the loop to the shuttle. When you put in the thread for the third time, press down with your left thumb to create a second loop.
Step 5
You must tie the second loop to the first loop. With your right hand, place the thread on the template over the first loop. Make sure the thread runs in a semicircle from left to right. Now start the hook from the right edge of the first buttonhole downward, and insert the tip from bottom to top between the left thread of your first buttonhole and the beginning of the second buttonhole.
Step 6
Pull out the hook and move it back. While doing this, hold the template with your left hand. Now pull the thread back until the knot tightens between your left thumb and forefinger. Tighten the knot securely. After that, drop the second loop from the template board from left to right. Make the next loop. Continue knitting in this way, discard each finished loop.
