It is not necessary to assemble the skateboard yourself. You will be helped to collect it directly in the store where the purchase was made. However, there are situations when you still need to know about the assembly rules. For example, if the suspensions and wheels can still serve, and the deck needs to be replaced.

It is necessary

glue, knife, awl, bolts, nuts, screwdriver, wrench

Instructions

Step 1

Take the DECK. Free her from the factory cellophane. Glue a special skin to it. Make sure that the deck is dry and free of any contamination.

Step 2

Be careful when gluing the deck. Bubbles and wrinkles should not be allowed. If they cannot be avoided, use a sewing needle. A sharp knife will help remove any excess around the edges when the skin is dry. Also, go around the edges with a file. This will extend the life of the skin.

Step 3

On the finished deck, make holes for the screws. Using an awl, pierce the skin from the bottom of the deck, through the holes in the places where the hangers will be attached.

Step 4

Collect the wheels. It should be remembered that each wheel is equipped with two bearings. Wheel assembly can be done in different ways. However, the easiest way is to press the first bearing into the wheel, then insert the bushing and install the second bearing.

Step 5

Screw the wheels to the hangers. Place washers on either side of the wheel. Put it on the suspension axle and screw it in with a nut. The wheel must rotate freely, so the nuts must not be overtightened. Be careful.

Step 6

The suspensions are ready. Now put everything together. Insert four bolts through the holes that were made in the sandpaper in advance. Take the suspension and put it on the bolts. In this case, the shock absorbers of the suspensions should be directed towards the center of the deck. That is, to look at each other.

Step 7

Use a Phillips screwdriver and wrench to tighten the connection. To help your skateboard last longer, place spacers between the deck and the gimbals. They will also soften the landing from high obstacles.

Step 8

Next, adjust the degree of tightening of the shock absorbers. Comfortable control of the skateboard, its easy tilt, etc. will depend on this.

Step 9

The assembly of the skateboard is complete. Now you can go try it for strength.
