Donku is considered by many to be an outdated and primitive tackle, but this is a completely incorrect statement. Many types of fish are caught on this simple fishing tool. Donkoy catch mainly large fish and at a fairly large depth.
Instructions
Step 1
First, try to make a simple donkey for beginners. To do this, first take out a nut, bamboo, or juniper twig. Its length should be up to 1.5 meters, sharpen the thick end of the rod, install a reel or a regular inertial reel, and wind 30-50 meters of fishing line on the reel (or reel).
Step 2
Pick up a fishing line with a diameter of at least 0.6 mm. Pass the line through two rubber tubes of different diameters. You will put the tube with the larger diameter on the end of the rod during fishing to attach the fishing line to it, and insert the wire from the counterweight or bell into the other.
Step 3
Tie a lead at the end of the line. Pour the sinker from a regular (tin) spoon, or from a pre-purchased tin. Remember that when fishing in a flowing river, a heavy and flat lead (up to 150 g) will be needed. For fishing in stagnant water, the shape and weight of the lead do not matter much.
Step 4
Next, to prevent the line from twisting, connect the sinker to the line using a swivel. Install a leash approximately 40 cm from the sinker, use a swivel mount with a carabiner. Make several similar leashes (5 or more) at the same distance from each other. Place a small feeder at 10-12 cm.
Step 5
Use strong hooks in the manufacture, for angling ordinary large fish from No. 5 to No. 8, for predatory fish species from No. 9 to No. 12. Install the counterweight, having previously made it from a piece of lead in the form of a cylinder, insert a loop of stiff wire into it, twist its ends and pass it through the rubber tube into which the line was previously passed. At a distance of about 50 cm from the end of the rod, hang the signaling device in the form bell, by the ringing of which the bite will be determined.
