Fishing is a very interesting and rewarding hobby. However, fishing begins not with throwing the tackle into the water, but with preparing the fishing rod, with collecting it. The choice of rod and tackle depends on the fish you plan to catch and the characteristics of the reservoir.

It is necessary

  • Rod
  • Coil
  • Hook
  • Float
  • Fishing line
  • Sinkers

Instructions

Step 1

So, you need to assemble the simplest float rod for fishing from the shore. To do this, you need to take a rod, and if it is composite, then assemble it (insert the separate parts neatly into each other). If the rod is telescopic, and the parts are hidden one in the other, then carefully pull them out and secure. You should not be too zealous when pulling and securing, so that later the rod can be easily disassembled.

Step 2

After that, you need to select the line. Most often, a fishing line with a thickness of 0, 2 is imposed on a float rod for fishing from the shore. This line can withstand a load of up to 2 kilograms, which is quite enough for coastal fishing. If a reel is used in the tackle, then this fishing line is wound on a reel, but if a rod with reel for the line, then the line is first imposed on the reel, and then passed through the rings to the top and lowered back to the butt of the rod. To check the length of the line, you need to take the rod with your right hand and the line with your left. The line should be 50-70 cm longer than the rod.

Step 3

Then a float is attached to the line. A float is also chosen depending on weather conditions, the presence of a current and simply by the color that you see best.

Step 4

Then hook No. 4 is attached to the end of the line. The hook can be tied in several knots. But most importantly, you must not leave the long tip of the line, otherwise it may prick the fish before it is spotted. Therefore, when attaching the hook, you need to leave the "tail" of the fishing line about 1.5 mm, no more.

Step 5

The final step in assembling the rod is to load the tackle. This stage is carried out directly on the reservoir, before fishing. It is necessary to experiment with the weight of the pellets in such a way that when the sinker is attached, the float does not sink completely and does not lie on the water.
