Drawing a school building is not difficult. You will depict any house either from the facade or in perspective. The same applies to school. Consider only one point - you will draw from life or from memory.
It is necessary
A sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare materials for work. Place the sheet of paper horizontally. Choose from which side you will draw the school - from the front (from the facade) or in perspective (that is, touching at least two sides of the building). With a simple pencil, start sketching. Don't use a ruler to get a straight line; you are drawing a drawing, not a drawing.
Step 2
If you are drawing only the front side, then place the facade rectangle just below the middle of the sheet. Mark nearby objects - trees, part of the court, school garden, etc. that is near your school. Then start drawing the building. Indicate porch (staircase doors). Place windows on the facade. Watch the aspect ratio so that all objects are distributed.
Step 3
Pay attention to small objects - the curb, school sign, window and door decoration, roof, lanterns (if any). Then move on to the surrounding objects. Draw a path, trees (bushes), a fence around the school (if it is included in your drawing). Optionally, you can add figures of students returning or going to school. If you place them on a sheet - watch the proportions so that it does not turn out that the girl is larger than the entrance to the school.
Step 4
Refine small details (curtains on windows, tiles, etc.). Use the eraser to erase unnecessary lines and apply light shading (unless you intend to continue drawing in color). Thus mark the location of the shadow on the objects of the drawing. Perform hatching, going down the drawing from top to bottom.
Step 5
If you are drawing the school in perspective, start at the corner closest to you. Then draw the lines of the base and roof from it, which, according to the law of perspective, should meet on the horizon. Keep in mind that in the future you will also need to position the door and windows. The closer the windows are to you, the larger their size.
