Dancing Coin Experiment
Experiments for children at home, as a rule, do not require any rare materials, objects, solutions, etc. Interesting home experiments can be done using the most common items such as a bottle and a coin. Place an empty glass bottle, without a lid, in the freezer for a few minutes. Next, remove the bottle from the freezer, moisten a coin with water and place it on the neck of the standing bottle, closing it completely. After a few seconds, the coin will start bouncing, making clicking sounds.
Step 2
Explanation
When air freezes, it contracts. After you place the bottle in the freezer, the air in it will be compressed. After you cover the bottle with a coin, the air inside will begin to expand and will tend to exit the bottle, pushing the coin out.
Step 3
Experiment "Fireproof bill"
Home experiments for children with fire always look spectacular. To carry out the next experiment, mix pure alcohol with water in proportions 1 to 1, pour a pinch of salt into the solution and stir until it dissolves. Then put a banknote of any denomination in the solution. After that, remove the bill with tongs and hold it in the air so that the solution drains. Then set fire to the bill - it will burn for a while, but will not burn.
Step 4
Explanation
After you set the bill on fire, the alcohol will start to burn out. During combustion, it releases carbon dioxide, water and heat. However, not enough heat is released to evaporate water, so after the alcohol burns out, the fire goes out. The bill remains wet, but not burnt.
Step 5
Experiment "Colored Milk"
Pour whole milk into a bowl, add a few drops of different food colors to it. Then dip a cotton swab in the detergent and dip in the center of the plate. You will see how milk moves, mixing dyes with each other.

Explanation
This experience is explained very simply. There are fats in milk that start to move when they meet with the molecules of the detergent.
