Street musicians are rarely invited to concert halls. However, this happens and Timur Vedernikov can serve as an example. A person who is devoted to his guitar and music as a phenomenon.
Student techie
Timur Vedernikov was born more than forty years ago in the fertile country of Uzbekistan, where friendly and hospitable people live. Today, fans of the musical direction "country", author's songs and musicals know his biography well. Parents saw the future of their child in terms of their ideas about work and career. And no wonder. My father was engaged in the creation and improvement of electrical devices. Invented and implemented something. Received copyright certificates. The mother taught the children at school. The nature was creative, she loved her work, wrote poetry.
According to all the prerequisites and forecasts, Timur was predicted the fate of an engineer. At the same time, from an early age, the boy sensitively caught sounds and tunes from the surrounding reality. It is not at all surprising that even in preschool age he began to master playing different instruments. In the last quarter of the 20th century, the guitar was especially popular among young people and the technical intelligentsia. Having learned three chords and using his perfect pitch, he already attracted the attention of understanding people. Creativity was addictive. Learning to play the banjo, dutar, rubab was no longer difficult.
It should be noted that the family did not interfere with Timur's childhood and youthful hobbies. However, in order to get a decent education, a high school graduate from Uzbekistan went to Moscow. The capital received visitors from all latitudes and continents with equal calmness. Submitted documents to the Mining Institute and successfully passed the entrance exams. It is interesting to note that the student environment often adjusts the life plans of young people. Student Vedernikov, after the third semester, interrupted his studies at the institute and went out into the street.
Parallel projects
For almost a year, the idle audience on the Arbat listened to Vedernikov's guitar sketches. As is customary among free artists, he performed in cafes, bars and other drinking establishments. Practice convincingly shows that a serious and ambitious person quickly gets bored with such a way of life. Timur wanted to make a significant contribution to contemporary musical art. Maybe this sounds too pretentious, but it does not contradict the essence of aspirations. To implement a large-scale project, together with close friends, a group "GrassMeister" is being created.
For several years, the collective has attracted the attention of viewers and music reviewers with original compositions. In parallel with his work in the group, Timur participates in other projects. The famous musical Notre Dame de Paris is known even to people far from art for the colorful character Quasimodo. It must be admitted that the sophisticated esthete Timur Vedernikov coped with this role superbly. And in the musical "Metro" I played the Drug Addict for a couple of years. Judging by these works, a professional guitarist has yet to be revealed facets of talent.
At the beginning of the 2000s, Vedernikov set up his own recording studio. Begins to engage in arrangements and sound engineering. Personal life develops within the framework of standards adopted by creative individuals. The first time Timur got married at the age of 20. A daughter was born, but the young husband and wife decided to leave. Such actions do not deserve a positive assessment. Today the already well-known and demanded musician lives a second marriage. The son is growing up.
