Anna Netrebko is the star of the world opera scene, one of the most talented and famous performers in this art form. Her success story is the path of an ordinary girl from Krasnodar to performances at the best opera stages, where thousands of spectators invariably applaud her. It is not surprising that for Anna her career remained in the first place for a long time. Everything was changed by the meeting and civil marriage with her colleague Erwin Schrott, to whom the singer gave her son Thiago. And after parting with the father of her child, Netrebko regained personal happiness, having played a wedding with tenor Yusif Eyvazov.
Russian beauty
On the opera stage, Anna Netrebko demonstrates a rare combination of a divine voice and typically Russian beauty. The singer admits that she never chased the standards of appearance imposed from the outside. She accepts and loves herself for who she is: she adores delicious food, does not play sports, does not resort to anti-aging procedures. Sometime in her youth, Anna even won the title of "Vice-Miss Kuban" in her homeland. Therefore, she is rightfully ranked among the most beautiful stars of the opera.
However, Netrebko did not have enough time for his personal life. She worked hard, multiplying her success and fame on the opera stage. At some point, the singer even doubted whether she really needed children or a husband. But Anna's opinion was changed by a meeting with the Uruguayan baritone Erwin Schrott. They met in 2003 when they were partners in the play Don Juan. Netrebko immediately drew attention to the stately and temperamental handsome man, and later found out that he also liked her from the first meeting.
However, the acquaintance did not receive any continuation, because Anna and Erwin at that time were in relationships with other people. The next time they crossed four years later in London with the same performance. Then Schrott decided to act by inviting Netrebko to a romantic dinner. After the very first date, they began a relationship, and two weeks later, a marriage proposal was made from Erwin. Soon the lovers decided to live together.
The new man completely changed Anna's views on future life. He immediately admitted that he dreamed of having children together, although Erwin already had an adult daughter from a past relationship. In September 2008, the couple had a son, Thiago Arua. The parents chose a name for the boy, taking into account the Latin American origin of his father, and the Russian mother prefers to refer to him simply "Tisha".
The happiness of the two opera stars lasted 6 years. They never registered the marriage, fearing the registration of a large number of papers in connection with different citizenships. However, Anna shone with happiness even without wedding celebrations, telling how happy she was to meet an intelligent, strong, caring man. Unfortunately, touring and constant separations gradually alienated them from each other, and in the fall of 2013 Netrebko announced her separation from her common-law husband.

Having survived the collapse of family relations, the opera diva did not grieve alone for long. In the winter of 2014, she agreed to play the lead role in the production of Manon Lescaut at the Roma Opera. Tenor Yusif Eyvazov from Azerbaijan was her partner. The bright oriental man immediately captivated the singer. Preparing for the premiere, they practically never parted and imperceptibly got closer spiritually. And when the series of performances came to an end, Yusif went after Anna to Vienna, realizing that he could not imagine his future life without her.
The future wife conquered the singer with her mind, talent, beauty. At the same time, Netrebko never looked for a rich sponsor, she wanted to see a smart, understanding, kind, strong man nearby. And she found all these qualities in Yusif. Although he is six years younger than his chosen one, Eyvazov matured early and learned to take responsibility for a large family. The singer began his journey to the opera stage in his native Baku, then left for Milan to improve his vocal skills. He earned his living by profession of a waiter, and even managed to financially help his relatives who remained in Baku. Of course, Anna is proud of the strength of spirit and determination of her beloved man.
Just six months after they met, Eyvazov proposed to her. He gathered the singer's friends in a restaurant and, in the presence of many witnesses, invited them to get married. Then the couple visited relatives in Krasnodar and Baku to personally tell them the good news.
Friendly family
The organization of the luxurious wedding celebration, which took place on December 29, 2015 in Vienna, was mainly carried out by the groom. At first, the future spouses wanted to arrange a modest family dinner, but in the process of preparation they revised the format of the holiday and invited 170 guests to it. The bride wore a white wedding dress from a famous Viennese designer.
The wedding ceremony took place in an old Viennese hotel, and the banquet took place in the Liechtenstein Palace. It's funny that the newlyweds, who grew up in the USSR, asked the organizers of the wedding dinner to immediately put all kinds of delicacies and treats on the tables, as was customary in the USSR, and not serve them in the process, following European rules.
The couple refused the honeymoon, since they already have to travel a lot for work. Anna and Yusif did not hold the church ceremony either, because the groom nominally considers himself a Muslim, and the bride was brought up in the Orthodox faith.
Netrebko is especially pleased with the fact that her chosen one managed to win over little Thiago. After all, the singer's son suffers from autism and, although the diagnosis manifests itself in a mild degree, it can be difficult even for her to find mutual understanding with the boy. Fortunately, Thiago fell in love with Yusif and considers him a full member of his family. After all, the own father pays very little attention to the child and practically does not communicate with him.
In his family, Netrebko gladly gives the reins of government to her husband. He deals with all organizational issues, conducts business negotiations for her and allows her to remain a weak woman who can always lean on a strong male shoulder.
