Little birds are our friends. They destroy harmful insects and decorate life with their chirps. In order for birds to live next to you, you need to build a birdhouse for them. This is not particularly difficult to do.

Boards (any, except conifers), nails 4-4, 5 cm, impregnation for wood or paint, a hacksaw for wood, a hammer, a drill, a drill with a large nozzle, a pencil, a tape measure, a brush
Instructions
Step 1
Take boards and a pencil, outline the dimensions of the birdhouse parts. The bottom should be 20 x 16 cm, the walls should be 45-55 cm high, the front board should be 3 cm larger than the back one. Provide bevels at the side boards so that the roof slopes back. For the roof, prepare two boards of different sizes, then they will need to be knocked down together. The bottom board should be made the same size as the bottom, and the top board a little larger so that the cornices remain on the side.
Step 2
Using a hacksaw or jigsaw, cut the boards to the desired size. It is better to sharpen their surface from the outside. It is not worth cutting inside. In the front board, make a hole with a diameter of 5 cm. This is the entrance (the hollow through which birds will enter the birdhouse).
Step 3
Using a pencil, mark the joints between the boards and nail them outside to make it easier to fasten the birdhouse. Nail the wall to the wall, and then to the bottom. The roof does not need to be fixed, it must be removable.
Step 4
Paint the finished nesting box or soak it with a special tree compound. When the birdhouse is dry, you can hang it on a tree. It is necessary to achieve a slight forward tilt. This is done so that water does not get inside the birdhouse during rain. In addition, it will be easier for chicks to fly out of the house tilted forward.
