In cold seasons, when frosts crackle, shoes do not warm the feet enough. This is especially felt in regions where frosts reach forty degrees. Self-made heated insoles can be an excellent foot warmer.
It is necessary
- -cardboard;
- -scissors;
- -wire;
- -copper wire;
- -metal staples;
- -tumbler;
- -accumulators;
- - woolen insoles;
- -foil.
Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the insoles for your winter shoes. For this, any thick cardboard is suitable, on which you need to draw insoles of the appropriate size and cut them out.
Step 2
Take a wire from an old electric stove and sew the insoles with large stitches along the entire length. The step between stitches can be several centimeters. Make more frequent stitches in the toe area, more rare - where the heel will be. Please note that there must be a gap of at least 1 cm between such a wire. After all, such threads during the heating process may lengthen a little and touch each other.
Step 3
You can place the contact pads from the inside of the foot. Lead copper wires there. For this purpose, a wire with a stranded cross section of 0.75-1 mm2 is suitable. You can use metal staples to secure the flexible wires to the wire.
Step 4
Next, pass the wires through trousers or other winter clothing into a pocket, where a toggle switch will be located, with which it will be possible to switch from parallel to serial position, and vice versa. Connect this toggle switch to a small 12 volt battery. Perhaps the parameters that are optimal for you can be selected during the operation of the insoles. You can change them by connecting batteries of different capacities.
Step 5
If such a system seems too complicated for you, then use dog hair or natural fur insoles for warming. Place a thin sheet of aluminum foil under your regular insole to keep it warm. Special winter insoles with an aluminum backing are also on sale now. And in stores for athletes there are insoles made of a special material that has thermal saving functions. Such inserts in shoes not only keep warm, but also do not impede air circulation.
