Instructions
Step 1
To design such a book, first of all, collect all your favorite delicious recipes. If you still have family cards, you are very lucky, because old paper will give your recipe book a special style that will breathe comfort and memories. If you don't have such cards, it doesn't matter! Rewrite the necessary recipes in beautiful handwriting on thin paper, for these purposes you can use brown kraft paper. Sort the recipes into categories so that it is convenient for you to create a book in the future.
Step 2
Choose photos or pictures for your cookbook, pictures will make it lively and colorful. For example, grandma's signature recipe can be supplemented with a photograph of her, next to the recipes for the New Year's table, draw a Christmas tree with glass balls. Make the most of your imagination. Consider in advance whether you will place the recipe and photos on the same page, or the pictures will be placed side by side on the page.
Step 3
Use scissors to cut out photographs, drawings, and shape recipe cards. Take your scrapbooking background paper and paste the materials you need onto it. You can use the background paper with different patterns to make your recipe book even brighter and more attractive.
Step 4
If the scrapbooking pages do not have binding holes, use a hole punch to punch them out. To ensure that the pages in the recipe book are stapled evenly, mark the same position on all sheets with a ruler and pencil before punching holes in them.
Step 5
Decorate the pages of your cookbook with a variety of decorative items. You can use liquid glitter, rhinestones, satin ribbons, retro stickers, various natural materials. Optionally, you can add comments to each entry, interesting stories that are associated with a particular recipe, the chronology of the appearance of dishes in your family.
Step 6
Design a cover for your cookbook. It can be made from a background sheet for scrapbooking or thick kraft paper. Write the title of the book, decorate it with a picture or photograph. Punch holes in the cover with a hole punch.
Step 7
Use a thin satin ribbon or string to tie all the pages of the book and the cover together. The recipe book is ready!
