The swan is an important, loyal, noble bird. Many famous artists, admiring the beauty and gracefulness of swans, depicted them in their paintings. Many great writers and poets, praising the purity of these birds, dedicated their works to them. A huge number of songs are sung by talented singers about swans. Using the Japanese origami technique, anyone struck by the swan's charm can make a figurine of this bird out of paper without leaving home.

Step 1
To create an origami swan, you just need a clean white square sheet of paper and nothing else.
Step 2
The prepared square of paper should be bent so that a triangle is formed. A noticeable fold line remains on the unfolded workpiece, along which you can move your fingernail harder so that it does not smooth out. Bend two adjacent sides of the original square to this diagonal.
Step 3
Now the left and right parts of the resulting shape need to be bent and connected at the center fold.
Step 4
Along the central fold, you need to fold the figure of the future swan in half and fix the fold with force.
Step 5
The sharp end of the resulting workpiece must be bent to the right. This will be the neck of the future origami swan. The paper bird's neck should be parallel to its tail line.
Step 6
Now the neck needs to be bent back. There remains a workpiece in the form of a sharp triangle.
Step 7
Further, pushing the bottom edges apart, along the intended folds, turn the neck of the origami paper bird inside out.
Step 8
Then you need to bend the bird's neck forward, flatten it strongly and straighten it back.
Step 9
The upper end of the neck should be turned inside out in the same way as the neck itself was once turned out. This triangle will become the head and beak of the swan.
Step 10
Next, you need to straighten the figure. It will look like a narrow kite. The sharp end should be bent to the junction point of the two diagonal folds. Bend part of the resulting triangle in the opposite direction. Reassemble the body of the swan along the old folds.
Step 11
The head of the origami swan should be gently bent. The part of the head with the beak must be taken to the adjacent area of the figure, closest to the neck. The head, beak, neck and body of the swan are ready.
Step 12
The final stage of folding the origami swan is the tail. It must be gently bent into the back of the bird's body. The majestic paper swan is ready.
