People love magic tricks, so at any party or holiday, the magician can very quickly become the center of attention. Especially relevant are tricks with the most common objects - for example, with matches.
Instructions
Step 1
For some of the tricks, you need a knack. Before showing focus in public, practice at home and try to perfect your performance. Try this trick: take two matches, one in your left hand and one in your right. Then hold each match between your thumb and forefinger, the left one horizontally, the right one vertically. You need to cross the matches, and then make a quick movement with your hands so that the horizontal match moves and is on the other side of the vertical one. The next move - and the matches changed places again. Move your arms together and apart to make the focus look even more impressive. The secret is simple: the head of a vertical match should rest against the thumb; when you pinch the match between your fingers, lightly press down on it, and then the end of the match sticks to your index finger. If you spread your fingers apart, the match will not fall, but will remain hanging on the index. Quickly slide a horizontal match into the hole and immediately press the vertical match with your thumb.
Step 2
There are also simple tricks for ingenuity. Place four matches on the table and ask the audience to make three out of four without removing a single match. Let them think a little - usually, people still can't figure out what the secret is right away, especially if you're showing the focus on a fun party. Then, after a pause, add the number three from four matches. To do this, place two matches parallel to each other at some distance, and the other two - between these matches in the form of a "less" sign.
Step 3
Take a match, sharpen it a little with a knife, giving it the shape of a burnt match, and then paint with ink or black marker. It is advisable to prepare several such false burnt matches just in case. You can throw these matches into an ashtray, or simply take them out of your pocket and light them by striking them against the boxes, causing the audience's surprise and admiration.
