In the drawing of pepper, it is important to reflect the structural features of the fruit and show the play of light and shadow on the surface of the skin. If you are depicting this agricultural crop on a branch of a bush, you need to draw the leaves and how to attach it to the shoot.
Instructions
Step 1
Think about what kind of pepper you want to draw, since the structure of the fruit is slightly different from different plants. The most common are hot, sweet and allspice.
Step 2
Draw an elongated oval if you are drawing a hot red pepper. The construction shape should be a quarter of its length. Sharpen the tip of the fruit, its end can be slightly bent into the room. Draw a stalk; at the point of attachment to the fruit, it has the shape of a star with dim rays. Fruits grow on a branchy liana-like shrub, the leaves of hot pepper are elliptical.
Step 3
Draw a cylinder with thin lines if you want to make a drawing of sweet pepper. Select three or four lobes with vertical lines, round the outlines of the ends. The proportions of the fruit can be different, some sweet peppers almost look like a ball, others are longer. Keep in mind that there is a variety of sweet pepper, also called Bulgarian, which has a sharp tip, and the division into shares is not pronounced.
Step 4
Draw a large brush with many small, rounded fruits. This is how allspice or black pepper grows. Unripe fruits are dried, and they take the form of peas familiar to cooks. The shape of the leaves in these types of pepper has the shape of a pointed oval, remember what the leaves of laurel look like.
Step 5
Start coloring. Hot peppers have an intense red color, sweet peppers can be bright yellow, red-orange or green. The ripening fruits of allspice and black pepper are colored black and purple. Regardless of what kind of fruit you are drawing, be sure to reflect the shiny surface of the pepper in the image. To make it not look flat, select the areas of shadow and light, mark the highlight with a stroke.
