For girls' hairstyles to look beautiful and neat, they need hairpins. They can not only be bought in a store, but also made from satin, rep and nylon ribbons. Moreover, a wide variety of products from simple bows to chic flowers are obtained from this material.
Rep ribbon bows
Rep ribbons are quite dense, it is very convenient to work with them. In addition, the finished product does not lose its shape for quite a long time.
To make a hair bow, you will need:
- rep ribbons 1 and 2 cm wide;
- base hair clip;
- threads;
- scissors;
- hot glue gun or Moment glue;
- a large bead or decorative button.
Prepare the base. From a thin rep ribbon, cut a piece with a length equal to the size of the hair clip plus 1 cm for the hem. Apply hot polymer glue to the surface of the hairpin and glue the ribbon to it so that 0.5 cm of ribbon remains on the hem from the edges. Bend these tips to the wrong side and glue.
Cut a piece about 10 cm long from the wider rep tape. Fold both edges and join the cuts in the middle of the wrong side. Wrap the workpiece with threads in the middle, making 5-6 turns. Tack. Decorate this place with a button or a large bead.
Glue the bow to the hairpin, while dripping a drop of glue in the middle of the wrong part of the part and press it against the base. Sew the edges of the bow to the ribbon glued to the hairpin, making a couple of blind stitches.
Organza flower hairpin
Spectacular and lush hair jewelry is obtained if you make them from a thin and wide organza ribbon. To work, you will need 2.5 m of tape, scissors, a lighter, threads, a needle, a base for a hair clip, a beautiful and large bead.
Singe the edges of the tape over the lighter so that they do not crumble during operation. Fold the first petal. Bend the edge of the tape at an angle of 45 degrees, also bend the other side so that the sections connect. Fold the resulting triangles along the cut line, flip the tape over, and do the same on the other side. Continue making petals to the end of the ribbon. To prevent the structure from falling apart, secure each petal with a tailor's pin.
String all the vertices of the triangles, pull off the structure and turn the work over. In the same way, secure the corners located in the center of the shape. Pull the thread and secure the middle with a few stitches over the edge. Turn the flower over and press the top to the bottom. Sew a beautiful bead to this place.
Attach the blank to the hairpin, while keeping in mind that the larger the jewelry, the larger the base should be. Sew it with a few stitches through the holes on the top of the bobby pin in the middle and along the edges.
