Step 1
When sewing clothes for Latin, take into account the international rules for ballroom costumes: the competition dress must be unadorned (stones, sequins, feathers are not allowed). It is recommended to use the material of any texture, except for metal; tone and color can be any other than flesh. Lingerie should match the color of the dress. The use of combinations of lace materials, appliqués, fringes is allowed. Choose from a stretch, bright fabric.
Step 2
The first, simple option is a ready-made closed swimsuit, top, body, complemented by a wide skirt. Decorate the skirt with lace, flounces, fringe. Stitch the finished parts in tiers or sew them by hand (this makes it easier to adjust the splendor and volume). Multi-tiered shuttlecocks look beautiful, which create a dynamic effect in the movement of the dancer.
Step 3
Make a calculation for sewing. The radius of the flounce is equal to the length of the edge of the skirt itself, for example, seven centimeters. Draw the first circle of the selected radius, from the center set aside the vector with the addition of the width of the shuttlecock. Cut out the outlines of the circles, cut the part, moving from the outer to the inner circle. Open a few flounces, sew them, attach to the skirt, baste.
Step 4
Adjust the amount of ruffle by decreasing or increasing the radius of the inner circle. If you narrow the shuttlecock to one end, you get an original spiral decor for the bottom of the dress. Consider when cutting the seam allowance: no more than one centimeter; the location of the fabric in the lobar direction.
Step 5
Use scraps of brightly colored fabric to create snail-like flounces. Fold the resulting flounces with the front side to the bottom of the dress, sew, carefully cut the allowances. Process the inner sections of the frills; iron, stretching slightly obliquely.
Step 6
A dress with a matching fringe looks original and airy. Sew the finished one-piece swimsuit with long-tipped silk fringe. Begin fastening at the waist, sewing the tape in tiers in a spiral. This work will take you no more than one hour, and the pleasure of an extraordinary Latin dress will be incomparable.
