For thrifty housewives, things serve more than one life. They are altered, repaired, jewelry and accessories are made from them. At the same time, funds are saved that can be used for other needs. If you have a little shabby, faded or simply unfashionable things in your wardrobe, do not rush to throw them away. A little imagination, free time and, most importantly, desires, and you will look attractive and fashionable, while spending practically no money.

Instructions

Step 1

Let's try to make an original summer bag or clutch bag out of an old knitted T-shirt. The jersey will curl when stretched - and this is what needs to be done. A bag made of such yarn will retain its shape, not bend or dangle like a rag.

Step 2

Make yarn from an old waste T-shirt. To do this, fold the shirt in half and lay it out neatly on a hard surface. The side seams should not be aligned, but diverge by about 2-3 cm. Cut the T-shirt into strips of 2-2.5 cm. The seam is cut on one side, but not on the other. It turned out to be something like a fringe. Next, make one long strip. To do this, lay out the uncut seam and cut it diagonally from one strip to the next. Thus, the stripes will be connected into one.

Step 3

Now stretch the resulting strip of fabric well. If you do everything right, then the edges will wrap inward and you will get a neat string. Collect it in a ball.

Step 4

Cast on a chain of chain stitches. It should be as long as your purse will be. Knit in single crochet stitches. First, tie the bottom of the bag - it will be a rectangle 3-4 cm high. Then tie the bottom in a circle. The walls of the purse are obtained. When knitting, make sure that the seams on the yarn are on the wrong side.

Step 5

If you make the sides of the bag high, then you can simply tie the handles. You will get a neat summer bag.

Step 6

If you want to make a clutch bag, then the flap on the bag can also be knitted. Or make it, for example, from leather or suede. Cut out a rectangle equal to one side of the bag. Sew it to one side of your bag. Sew the lining to the purse. Attach the clasp. The bag can be decorated with a flower made of fabric to match or a chiffon bow.
