A voluminous cherry made of rubber bands is woven in several stages. If you wish, you can weave a few berries and make a bunch using different color combinations. Prepare all the necessary tools in advance and start creating your masterpiece.
It is necessary
- - hook with steel base;
- - 1 auxiliary hook;
- - machine;
- - red rubber bands (60 pieces);
- - green elastic bands (32 pieces);
- - flesh-colored elastic bands (20 pieces);
- - yellow elastic bands (2 pieces);
- - black elastic bands (3 pieces).
Instructions
Step 1
In the center of the loom, select any post and pull on a pair of red star-shaped elastic bands like this.
Step 2
Take one red elastic and wrap the sprockets around the center column three times. Hook up the uppermost elastic band from the inside of the center column, pull it out and put it on the column to which this elastic band belongs.
Step 3
Repeat the same process for the other rubber bands. Next, hook on a couple more elastic bands in a circle and crochet all the lower elastic bands from the outside on each post.
Step 4
To form an extension, lower the elastic bands to the base of the posts and crochet the elastic from the extreme side posts and move it to the adjacent one.
Step 5
On the resulting pattern, throw a pair of elastic bands on each column, hook all the lower elastic bands on the columns from the outside and discard.
Step 6
Make the eyes by taking one black elastic band, which must be twisted on the hook in three turns and discard it over a couple of red elastic bands. Make the second eye in the same way and put it on the machine.
Step 7
Slip a pair of rubber bands around all the posts again, avoiding the eye area. Crochet the bottom elastic in a circle using the already known technique. The next stage is the formation of the cheeks. Take a yellow elastic band, twist it on the hook in three turns and put it on a pair of red elastic bands. Attach the cheeks to the posts where the eyes are located.
Step 8
Continue hooking a pair of red elastic bands in a circle, avoiding the eye and cheek areas, and then continuing to crochet the lower elastic bands. For the mouth, take one black elastic band, wrap it twice around the hook and transfer it to the red elastic bands.
Step 9
Throw a pair of red rubber bands over all the columns in a circle and weave another row. The narrowing is done by removing the upper rubber bands from the side posts. After that, the elastic bands are crocheted onto the opposite column.
Step 10
From the outer center posts, discard four of the bottom eight elastic bands. Move the remaining four rubber bands from the same column to the columns closer to the center. Raise the center piece to the top to make it easier to weave in the future. Throw on a pair of red elastic bands again in a circle, and then discard the lower elastic bands of each row, crocheting.
Step 11
The last step is to drop all the rubber bands off the machine onto a pair of red rubber bands. To do this, place a pair of red elastic bands on adjacent posts and discard the lower elastic bands. Then slide the main pair of rubber bands over the other posts and continue to drop the excess rubber bands. When there are two elastic bands on the posts, remove them on the hook.
Step 12
Pull one loop through the other and tighten carefully, then weave the resulting loop inside the cherry. Take one pair of flesh-colored elastic bands and make a loop.
Step 13
Take one flesh-colored elastic band and twist it on your finger in two turns, and then pull it over the hook and remove the pair of beige elastic bands that remain on the hook. Weave all the flesh-colored rubber bands in this way to form a stem.
Step 14
The leaf is woven on a loom. Stretch the green elastic bands this way.
Step 15
Weave the leaf by grabbing the bottom elastic bands on each column and tossing them over to the one to which they belong. Remove the leaf from the machine, connect the stem to the leaf. To do this, take two flesh-colored elastic bands and discard the leaf and stem loops. Weave the stem with flesh-colored elastic bands and secure at the end with a knot.
