Interesting toys can be made from anything. All kinds of boxes are especially good as a material for designing. Even a smoking dad can please his baby with an original homemade product. If he has about fifteen empty cigarette packs, you can make a robot out of them. The designs of robots can be very different, therefore, they can be made from a different number of packs. Packs should be of the same shape and size, while the size and shape themselves do not play a special role. You will need more thin packs or the robot will turn out to be smaller.
It is necessary
- 15-20 cigarette packs
- Foil
- Some colored paper
- PVA glue or universal
- Pharmacy gum
- Scotch
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start making blanks for different parts of the robot's body, remove the foil and other excess pieces of paper from the packs. Align the packs, seal the torn places with glue or tape. Seal the lids as well, as if the packs were not printed.
Step 2
Take 3-4 packs for the head. Place glue on the largest edge of one of the packs and line it up with the same side of the other pack. Glue the third to the second pack in the same way, then the fourth. For the glue to set better, pull the workpiece in several places with pharmacy rubber bands.
Step 3
Cover the robot's head. To do this, measure its length, width and height and unroll the rectangular parallelepiped, not forgetting about the allowances for gluing. In principle, the robot does not need to be pasted over, but it will look better with foil. The underside, which will be glued to the body, need not be pasted over.
Step 4
Glue the blank for the robot body in the same way. The only difference will be that the blank for the body will be located vertically, and the head - horizontally, on the edges of the packs. You can make the robot taller by first gluing 2 identical blanks, similar to the head blank, and then placing one on top of the other. At the same time, the blanks are glued to each other with the smallest edges, one will have an upper one, the other - a lower one. Cover the torso with foil, leaving the top and bottom edges open.
Step 5
Glue the head to the torso. Place your torso so that the bundles are vertical. Cover the top with glue. Place the robot's head on it so that the bundles of which it is made lie on the side. Let the glue dry.
Step 6
Make a leg blank. Cover 2 packs with foil. Place one pack flat on the position of the robot's foot. If you decide to make your legs heavier, then sand or plasticine must be put in this particular pack. Find the middle of your foot and glue another pack vertically to it. The short sides of the packs are perpendicular to each other. Do the other leg in the same way.
Step 7
Glue your legs to your torso. To do this, glue the upper edge of the leg workpiece and align it with the lower edge of the torso workpiece. One of the lateral surfaces of the leg is a continuation of the lateral surface of the trunk.
Step 8
Cover 2 more packs with foil. For a tall robot, an arm can be made from two packs by aligning the side surface of one with the bottom surface of the other. For a short robot, one pack for each hand will be enough. Glue your arms to your torso the way you like best. Hands can be lowered - in this case, smear the largest surface of the arm and press it firmly against the body, aligning the short side of the pack with the shoulder. You can move your hands forward or backward, in this case, you need to spread glue on only part of the pack.
Step 9
Give the robot a face. You can cut out "eyes", "nose", "teeth" from colored paper, or you can use colored tape, it will stick to the foil even better. Decorate the body at your discretion - there can be all kinds of light bulbs, buttons, levers.
