Vegetables are very healthy, but children often don't like to eat them. The way out is to make cute crafts that children will gobble up on both cheeks. A mouse, a bird, a snake and many other animals can be made from readily available products.
Radish Mouse
A cute and cute little mouse can be made from radishes and a couple of cabbage leaves. In addition to them, you will also need:
- 2 pcs. peanuts;
- 2 cloves;
- knife.
Wash the round radish thoroughly and cut off the top. You do not need to trim the tail, it will imitate a mouse. Stick a carnation on the sides of the cut, you get an animal's muzzle with a nose and eyes.
Then place the radishes on a work surface and cut off the bottom to make the figurine more stable. Peel the peanuts and place them on the sides of the mouse radish, you get paws.
At the top of the vegetable, make 2 shallow cuts with the tip of a knife. Cut 2 semicircles from the cabbage leaves and insert each into the incision, so the mouse will have ears.
Mouse ears can also be made from thin slices of radish.
Bird from the tropics
To make this simple vegetable craft, you will need:
- 1 round yellow tomato:
- a small head of cabbage;
- 2 green sprigs from tomatoes;
- a toothpick;
- knife.
Take one small head of cabbage. Remove one sheet and cut a circle out of it. Bend the two upper leaves on the sides of the head of cabbage outward to form the wings of an exotic bird.
It is best to choose an elongated cabbage, such as Chinese cabbage, or take a small Brussels sprout.
Make the bird's head. Make a cut in the tomato with the tip of a knife. Tear off one leaf from the branch and insert it into the resulting hole. Thus, the bird will have a long beak. Cut 2 small circles on the sides of it. These will be the eyes.
Stick a toothpick into a tomato, then string a round cabbage leaf and insert the structure into the top of the head of cabbage. Make 2 deep cuts at the bottom and insert a branch from the tomato into each. You will get real bird paws with claws.

Cut a very thin plate out of a piece of carrot and make a forked snake tongue out of it. Make a puncture on one of the edges with a knife and insert a carrot into it. Stick a carnation on the sides of it, which will imitate the eyes of a snake. Place the craft on the table and give it the desired curves.
