The little people cut out of paper look very symbolic, even somehow philosophical: just to do is easy to destroy, like human life. Such figurines become excellent models for socially oriented photography, for various works of conceptual art, installations. And in everyday life they look quite organic: a garland of paper men will perfectly decorate the interior for any holiday. After all, they are so funny and just like living!

Instructions
Step 1
Come up with an interesting, but simple-shaped image of a paper person so that you can easily recognize it and easily cut it out. The main condition for creating an image: both halves of this man must be absolutely symmetrical.
Step 2
It can be a symbol of the holiday you are preparing for. For example: Snow Maiden girls, tin soldiers, "business" men for a corporate event, angels with wings, little men with heart-shaped windows, etc. You can also draw a group of different figures, for example, a family (mom, dad and child), a couple (man and woman), or something else that matches the theme of your event.
Step 3
Cut an A4 sheet into two horizontally. Fold a strip of paper with an accordion: first in half, and then two more times in half in the same direction, to get an "accordion" with an even number of edges (in this case, there will be eight). Unfold the folded strip and lay it in the correct "accordion" (alternating the direction of the edges "towards you - away from you"). By the way, you can make your own sizes of the garland.
Step 4
Lay the paper accordion folded in front of you and draw half of your character on top of it. Moreover, the contours of this half should adjoin the edges of the face on which you are drawing, and the middle of the figure should coincide with the fold of the paper.
Step 5
Carefully cut the little man along the outer contour with scissors or a utility knife. Fold the other strips of paper back into accordions and repeat the simple process described above. The number of stripes depends on the length of the garland you need. Glue the edges of the accordions (links) into a long garland.
Step 6
Instead of a garland by the same principle, you can make a kind of "candlestick". Make two "accordions" with men as described above. "Accordions" should consist of six faces. Connect them in a circle with glue or a stapler and place a candle in a glass inside. Of course, during the operation of such a decoration, it is necessary to observe safety measures and not put it close to an open fire. And you can make such a "candlestick" from a non-combustible heat-resistant material such as plastic or film.
