Paper flowers can be an interesting interior decoration and an original gift. A colorful applique, made together with a child, is also a wonderful school of artistic taste and fine motor skills. To begin with, it is enough to master a few simple techniques of this type of applied art, then you can complicate the crafts yourself.
It is necessary

Instructions
Step 1
One of the easiest ways to make a paper flower is to cut it out of its individual pieces. To do this, you need to draw a diagram of the future application. Calculate the number and location of petals and other plant elements.
Step 2
To make the parts of the same type (petals, leaves, grass) identical, prepare templates for them in the form of folded paper. So, for the petals, cut a strip of the desired height and fold it into an accordion.
Step 3
Draw a petal on the top of the blank and cut along the marked line. Try not to move the accordion, otherwise the details will turn out to be sloppy.
Step 4
Use a green paper-backed marker to mark the stem of the flower. Glue the petals, prepare the core - a circle from a leaf of a different tone. To achieve the effect of volume, the tops of each part can be skipped and the top can be slightly folded.
Step 5
Craft the leaves. To give symmetry to each part, make neat folds of paper blanks and draw half of the plant element. Slice the part and unfold the paper. It is convenient to cut flowers and leaves of complex shapes (tulips, cornflowers, shamrocks, etc.)
Step 6
To make the applique look finished, make paper grass. Cut a strip of green paper to the desired height at the top. The "lawn" will look more natural if you tear the parts with your hands.
Step 7
Glue the bottom edge of the workpiece to the backing. Bend the top of each "blade of grass" slightly or twist it with a pencil.
Step 8
Volumetric flowers for an artificial bouquet can be made from a paper base in the shape of a circle. Take a saucer with a suitable diameter and trace around it with a pencil. You can use a compass.
Step 9
Fold the original circle into an accordion, dividing the circle into equal petal sectors. Round the top of the workpiece with scissors and unfold the paper.
Step 10
Cut out one of the sectors, form a valve from the adjacent part. Lubricate it with glue, then roll up the shape and glue the paper flower. Such a craft can be planted on a thin wire and an elegant bouquet can be made from a ready-made sample.
