A fluffy skirt looks prettier if worn with a petticoat. It can be sewn quickly. For one of the options, you don't even need a sewing machine - pieces of fabric are tied to an elastic band. For the second, a pattern is not needed. Both petticoats are created quickly.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a measuring tape. Place it at your waist or at the top of your thighs, where the petticoat will begin. Measure the circumference, subtract 3 cm. Take an elastic band for clothes. It can be narrow or wide. Set aside the resulting value on it, cut to measure.
Step 2
Cut 40-50 rectangles out of soft tulle, depending on how luxuriant you want to do the thing. Their width is 20 cm. The height is equal to the length of the petticoat.
Step 3
Lay the elastic in front of you horizontally. Start tying rectangular pieces to it. Take the first one, bend it in half so that at the top it is in the form of a semicircle. Place the fabric on the elastic so that the top protrudes 7 cm above it. Slide the two ends of the rectangular cloth under the elastic and pull through the semicircular part. Do this with all rectangles. Sew the elastic. The beautiful thing is ready.
Step 4
The second petticoat is sewn differently. First, also measure your waist or hips, where the petticoat will begin. Divide the resulting value by 16, let it be the number "X". Take tulle. Fold it in four so that its sides are 2 times longer than the length of the product.
Step 5
Take another piece of fabric, fold it in four in the same way, and cut out a hole for the top and bottom of the petticoat. But that's not all. In total, cut 4 of these were made from four canvases.
Step 6
Make one side cut in each. Take two pieces. Attach the side cut of the first to the same cut of the second. Take the third piece. Sew it from one side to the other. Thus, sew all 4 blanks. Sew the side of the last to the side of the first part. As a result, you should get a thing that looks like a very fluffy skirt.
Step 7
From a denser fabric that matches the color, cut out the belt to the width you need. The length is equal to the volume of the hips or waist, plus 2 cm for the seam and 3 cm for the fastening allowance. Fold it in half.
Step 8
Stitch the sides of the waistband on the wrong side. Turn it onto your face again. Fold the front and back edges 1 cm. Attach to the top of the skirt so that it is between the back and front sides of the belt. Stitch to the end, remembering to overlap with 3 cm for the fastener. Sew on a button, button or hook. The do-it-yourself petticoat is ready.
