Alexey Striik is a famous Russian rock musician, songwriter, composer, guitarist and songwriter. For a long time he worked in the legendary heavy metal band "Master".
Biography
The future virtuoso of the hard stage was born back in 1973 on December 11 in the small town of Solntsevo (today there is no such city on the map, since 1984 it has been part of Moscow). From an early age, the boy had a real passion for music. Once, when he was visiting his friend at school, he first heard the records of Deep Purple, he really liked the music. A little later, he firmly decided to embark on a creative path. In high school, he organized a school ensemble. According to the musician himself, their group was devilishly popular in their native school, the name of the group was covered with desks and walls.
Career
After the final exams, the school group had to be disbanded. But Alexey's interest in hard rock has not disappeared anywhere. In 1990, he joined an obscure local band called Hard Temple, a choice that paved the way for Strike into big rock and roll. In "Temple" Alexey met Igor Moravsky, who next year invited a promising guitarist and vocalist to the already popular group "Moscow Time".
In the mid-90s, the group ceases to exist, but the musicians do not disperse, but decide to create a new group, called "Strik". Until the end of the dashing 90s, the newly-made band recorded two full-length albums. The group was also invited to record one of the tracks of the group "Aria" for their anniversary. On the tribute album for Alexei Strike and his comrades, the song "Give me a hand" is listed.
With the advent of the 2000s and rapid changes in the heavy scene, Alexey Strike joins the famous heavy metal band Master. For the entire period of work in the group, Alexey took an active part in the recording of several albums. In 2006 he also took part in the joint project “The Master” and the famous rock poet Margarita Pushkina “On the other side of the dream”. He helped the founder and leader of the band Alik Granovsky in the recording of his solo project "Big Walk". Despite many years of fruitful work, creative disagreements ripened in The Master and, in order not to complicate the situation, Strike, together with drummer A. Karpukhin, left the band.
Since the same year, Alexey, together with his teammates "Strik", have been helping Andrey Kovalev and his group "Pilgrim" to record several albums. Also, the musicians performed at concerts as part of the "Pilgrim". After "Pilgrim" Strike worked for about a year with the former lead singer of "Aria" Arthur Berkut.
After a long wandering, the famous musician returns to where he started. After minor perturbations in 2013, Striik is reborn, now the team is called STRIKE. In addition to the old teammates, Viktor Anger and Alexander Chukov join Alexey. With this line-up, they recorded several maxi-singles and small albums. For 2018, the group continues to be creative. In October, the composition "Cry" was presented, from the album "Cult" which is expected to be released by the end of the year.
Personal life
In his free time, which the famous musician does not have so much, since he is seriously obsessed with finding the perfect sound, Alexey is fond of sports, collects figures of guitarists and has great fun with his two sons, whom his beloved wife Kira gave him. Alexey believes that the family is the most important thing in the life of any person.
