Children should have their own space - their own corner or a small playhouse. And the best solution is to buy or sew a children's tent, which can be used not only for playing at home, but also taken with you on hikes. The most important thing is that the tent does not get wet (if you plan to take it out of the house) and keep its shape.
It is necessary
- - tent canvas or rubberized percale;
- - tracing paper;
- - tailor's scissors;
- - harsh threads;
- - frame;
- - lightning.
Roughly calculate the fabric consumption depending on the size of the future tent, to do this, multiply the height by the length of each wall. Note that there are four such walls, add the size of the roof and floor. Some parts can be sewn from several parts. Purchase tent fabric: rubberized percale or tent canvas.
Make a tent pattern on tracing paper. The simplest model consists of a floor, roof and four side walls. One wall will be the entrance, so you will need a zipper insert.
Transfer the pattern to the fabric, cut it out. Sew all parts together. Insert a zipper into the side wall where the entrance will be. Process the slices.
Keep in mind that the weight of the tent depends on how thick you are using the fabric. Sew the floor and back wall with a sturdier fabric, or use several layers of material already purchased.
To prevent the tent from leaking, connect all panels with linen or a double thick seam. You can also avoid leaks by saturating the fabric with a 40% solution of laundry soap. Let the fabric soak well, then dip it in a 20% solution of copper sulfate. Take it out and dry it well.
Take the braid and hem the skate. Wash it before doing this, otherwise the tape will shrink. Run a medium hemp rope between the tape and the ridge. Attach the ends to the ends. Hide the attachment point using a special patch.
Make holes at the ends of the ridge for the posts, with their help the tent will be fixed. Use aluminum tubing or other sturdy fittings for uprights. Fasten the slots with metal blocks, or process with thick thread. If desired, make a hole in the back wall for ventilation. Make a zip up at the entrance to the tent. This will prevent dirt and water from getting inside.
