If you have children, you know how much they love to play in small houses, tents and tents. So that they do not make a mess in the house, creating designs from sofa cushions and sheets, build them a real tent, which will be very easy to clean up after the game.

Instructions
Step 1
Before you start sewing the tent, draw its design. Determine the required height and length of the tent, as well as the width. Note that the rungs are at an angle, so the height may be less than you intended. Take wooden or plastic slats and saw off 4 pieces of the required length, check that they should be the same. To prevent the child from planting a splinter, sand the uneven places with sandpaper or a file.
Step 2
Place the blocks next to each other and mark the attachment point 5 cm from the edge. Measure the diameter of the crossbar (it must be round) and take a drill bit with the same diameter. Drill a hole in the slats at the marked points.
Step 3
Connect the structure by threading a round bar inside the holes. Assess the stability, if the legs are moving apart, make additional fastening, screw the tape of the required length with self-tapping screws to the legs (preferably at the top so that the children do not stumble over it).
Step 4
Measure the length of the tent from the front to the back legs. Then find out the height of the awning, for this, from the crossbar with a tape measure, set the distance down, not reaching a few centimeters to the floor. Add 3 cm per hem on each side, so you get a pattern.
Step 5
Find the fabric for your tent. Any material is suitable for playing at home, but note that this design folds easily, and you can take it with you to the country or on a hike, so choose a sun-proof and moisture-proof fabric.
Step 6
Cut a rectangle from the fabric to the desired size, then sew on all sides with a sewing machine or by hand. Equip each corner with an elastic loop so that the walls of the stitched house do not fly apart. If you do not plan to completely disassemble the tent, you can fix the fabric not with rubber bands, but with self-tapping screws, then it will hold more reliably.
Step 7
If you want to additionally decorate the tent, overwrite the slats with the same or another fabric, and add "doors" to the front and back, even with a zipper.
