Take a piece of cardboard and cut out a rectangle that will be slightly longer in size than the brush and about ten centimeters wide, there should be a cord on the narrow side, which will eventually hold the brush.

Wrap the yarn around the long side of the rectangle, if you want to get a voluminous brush, then you will have to wind "more" thread.
Step 3
Next, tighten the thread that runs along the narrow side of the cardboard. Cut the wound yarn opposite the knot with scissors. Then you need to cut off a piece of yarn about 30 centimeters long.
Step 4
Wrap the brush with it several times below the knot, two centimeters. Tie well. Cut off any jagged ends.
Step 5
Making the cord that holds the tassel:
First, decide how long the lace should be. Add another third to this length and cut a piece of yarn about four times longer.
Step 6
Fold a piece of yarn in half and make a knot on each side. To make it more convenient, hang the end, for example, on a doorknob.
Step 7
Start twisting the yarn until you see that the cord is already tightly woven, try to stretch it all the time.
