Biography of Mikhail Gorshenev
Future rock musician Mikhail Gorshenev was born in the small town of Pikalevo, Leningrad Region, in early August 1973. Parents, a career soldier and his wife, could not even think that their sons would become stars. Mikhail and his younger brother Alexei often changed schools, since their father was transferred to one military unit, then to another, they were more fond of sports than music, they dreamed of continuing the military dynasty.
The dreams of Mikhail and Alexei changed after they met a music teacher at another school. It was he who instilled in the brothers a love of the guitar, even came to study with the boys at their house.
Mikhail Gorshenev met his future associates, colleagues and best friends in Leningrad. Together with Alexander Balunov ("Balu"), Alexander Shchigalev ("The Lieutenant"), he studied at school number 147.
Receiving a certificate, Mikhail already knew that he would not do anything except music. He entered the Restoration Museum only because of this. That his parents literally demanded that he get a real, serious profession. The young man never finished the lyceum - he was expelled for constant absences, the reason for which was the rehearsals of the musical group "Contra".

By 1990, the guys already had a full-fledged, popular in certain circles musical group. They changed the name of the band to "The King and the Fool". The motivation was their songs - a little fabulous, close to the medieval theme.
6 years later, in 1996, the band recorded their first studio album, which sold out instantly and instantly became popular. Popularity demanded an expansion of the repertoire, the guys literally worked for wear, releasing an album a year, while touring the country in parallel. Personal life of Mikhail Gorshenev
The rock musician has been married twice. A certain Anfisa became his first wife. The marriage lasted 5 years. During his life with Anfisa, Mikhail became addicted to drugs, his brother and parents treated him and his wife more than once. As a result, the musician, according to him, realized that it was a swamp and divorced. Anfisa Gorsheneva died of an overdose a few years after her divorce from the musician.
He met his second wife, Olga Gorshenev, a year after the divorce, and two years later they formalized the marriage. Olga had a daughter from her first marriage, Nastya, and in 2009, a daughter, Alexandra, was born with Mikhail. Olga was with Gorshenev until his death.
