Catching carp is not easy. This strong, beautiful fish is considered the most cunning and cautious. Only experienced carp anglers can boast of catching large carp. They use special self-locking tackle and catch boilies (balls with flavors). But most anglers are content with an ordinary fishing rod, which is quite possible to pull a trophy up to 5 kg ashore.
Instructions
Step 1
If there are a lot of carp in the lake or pond, then you can catch it anywhere. It is not necessary to hustle on the shore, side by side with other anglers, you can feed a quiet place for a week, and the fish itself will jump into the cage.
Step 2
For bait, grain, cake, steamed peas, mixed feed, etc. are used, but it is important that it is supplemented with those ingredients and aromas that will be present in the bait. It is advisable to spread the bait at the time when you plan to fish. Up to 10 kg are thrown into the water at a time.
Step 3
Tackle for carp fishing must be carefully selected, this strong fish does not forgive shortcomings. Special carp rods are sold in shops, they can be recognized by the sticker with the image of this fish and the inscription "Carp". They vary in price depending on material and strength. The length of the rod is about 3, 5 m. Additionally, you need to purchase a reel.
Step 4
The line for carp should be thin, but at the same time reliable. It is not advisable to take a fishing line thinner than 0.3 mm; when hooked, the carp instantly makes a sharp throw and a break may occur. But fishing line thicker than 0.35 mm is also not recommended, since carp is a very careful fish. It is better to choose a fishing line of the color of the water in the reservoir, with a breaking load of 10-12 kg. For a leash, a slightly thinner fishing line is taken.
Step 5
Hooks for carp are selected in a dark color, preferable to foreign production. For a better hold, take the hooks with a sting bent inward. You can check its sharpness by lightly passing it on the palm, a good hook immediately catches on the skin.
Step 6
The float for carp fishing should be sensitive, as the fish takes the bait very carefully with its lips. Sometimes subtle vibrations of the float can indicate that the fish is biting. Its color should not be bright, scaring off carp. It is convenient to use sliding loaded floats.
Step 7
Carp is caught both during the day and at night, but the best bite is in the morning hours. It is facilitated by the west and south wind, and especially large trophies can come across in a thunderstorm. Carp is a schooling fish, in one group there can be several dozen individuals of different sizes, therefore, for a long bite, it is necessary to keep the school in a lured place. For this, more top dressing is thrown into the water.
Step 8
Usually, when biting, the float twitches slightly and slowly goes sideways under the water, but sometimes the carp can carefully suck the bait, showing itself by swaying or twisting the float. In this case, it is impossible to be late with the sweep. After the carp feels the prick from the sting of the hook, it rapidly begins to go into the depths of the reservoir.
Step 9
Here, success depends on whether the fishing rod is properly equipped. The escaping fish is stopped with smooth movements and begins to be pulled out. The rod is held vertically, dampening the jerks of the carp and gradually reeling in the line. When the fish is near the shore, they take it out with a landing net.
