Map of mushroom places of the Moscow region
Looking at the map, there are 10 main directions with mushroom spots:
Now it is worth considering each of them in more detail.
Belarusian direction
Galitsyno station: walk along the tramway to the Butynya River. A little further you will see a path that will lead to a small forest field. Most often there are honey mushrooms, chanterelles, porcini mushrooms.
Petelino Station: take the road to the Opushka partnership. There is a forest road from the edge. Just walk along it 100-150 meters and go into the forest. As you know, there are always full of chanterelles and honey agarics.
Zvenigorod station: on the eastern side there is an old plot (the place where the forest was harvested). It is there that you can find placers of deer - little-known, but very tasty mushrooms.
Kiev direction
Station Dachnaya: in any direction of Sadovaya Street we go out into a long section of forest in which the Aprelevka River flows. Walking along the edge of the forest, from the side of the field, you can collect more than one basket of milk mushrooms.
Pobeda station: the station itself was closed in 2016, but next to it there is a platform with the same name. We pass from it along Proletarskaya Street into a dense pine forest and find such mushrooms as chanterelles and russula.
Selyatino station: along Bolnichnaya street we leave for the Serafimosarovskaya church. Behind it you can find a huge number of forest roads, passing along which you can cut chanterelles on the sides, or go into the forest and look for porcini mushrooms.
Kursk direction
Hryvno station: walking along Pobedy street, you can get to Dubrava Culture and Rest Park. It contains special signs indicating the main mushroom locations.
Lviv station: you just need to go to the Metallurgov passage and from it go out into the coniferous forest. Find an abandoned building (in the upper left corner of the map photo), around it is full of chanterelles and russula.
Kolkhoz station (since 2017 called Molodi): right from the station we go to the forest belt along the railway to the end of the village. Ceps and honey agarics are especially common there, less often chanterelles.
Paveletskoe direction
Vostryakovo station: as you can see on the map, the oak grove is located directly opposite the station, 200-300 meters away. Mushroom pickers consider this place to be one of the best places to find boletus.
Barybino station: go to 2nd Vokzalnaya street, and from it straight into the forest belt. The main thing is to move away from the road as far as possible, because it is impossible to pick mushrooms close to it - such gifts of the forest have already absorbed the exhaust gases of passing cars.
Shugarovo station: a huge oak forest extends both to the left and to the right of the station. But experienced mushroom pickers recommend going out on the marked path and walking deep into the forest: there are places where honey mushrooms are scattered.
Ryazan direction
Station Chernaya: you should go to the Ryazan highway, cross it and, once in a coniferous forest, find a path. After passing along it, carefully look at the roadside: chanterelles are scattered in small heaps over small hills and hillocks.
Lukhovitsy station: after going down the Station street, we get to Lesnaya street and walk along it to the beginning of the lake. From it we already go out into the birch forest and see small meadows with porcini mushrooms growing on them.
Vinogradovo station: along Vinogradova street we go out to Dachnaya street, and from there we go straight into the forest. Boletus, russula and chanterelles are very common there.
Kazan direction
Shevlyagino station: a huge coniferous and pine forest stretches along the entire railway. August, September and October are the best time to pick oyster mushrooms there - the most useful mushrooms.
Station Gzhel: from the station we go to the village. Gzhel brick factory. Nearby there is a forest where you can find mushroom glades.
Grigorovo station: a dense linden forest is located directly opposite the station. Look for clearings and hills well-lit by the sun - russula and chanterelles are found on them.
Yaroslavl direction
Abramtsevo station: 250-300 meters from the station, in the depths of the coniferous forest is the village. Artists. Walk around this village and collect more than one basket of saffron milk caps and butter.
