Winter and summer fishing is traditionally one of the most favorite types of men's recreation. But from year to year, this hobby attracts more and more female fans. Both are concerned about the question, where is the best fish in the Moscow region?
Upper Volga and Ivankovskoe reservoir
The Volga River, flowing not far from Dubna in the Moscow region, is one of the most favorite places for fishing among Muscovites and residents of the region. Near the same town there is the Ivankovskoye reservoir dam, which attracts a huge number of both professionals and amateur fishermen. Here you can catch good pike perch, asp, as well as a rather impressive pike.
Having traveled a little further along the Volga to the village of Ratmino, you can catch pike, perch and even pike perch on a spinning rod, and small but very tasty roach or large bream go well with a float rod.
Interesting for fishermen are the Volga tributaries - Shosha, Lob and Lama, which are located not far from Dubna, where you can find in abundance roach, scourge, perch, ide and medium-sized bream. But there is also a slight difficulty, since most of the length of the three tributaries falls on the protected area of the Zavidovsky Reserve, due to which fishing is controlled and paid.
The Ivankovskoe reservoir itself, with warm water flows discharged into the reservoir of the Konakovskaya SDPP, is also abundant in fish - only about 30 species for the "hunting" of fishermen. Here you can catch catfish and blue bream, rare for the European part of Russia, as well as more common rudd, asp and tench.
If you prefer to rest comfortably, you can turn your attention to the paid bases located around the Ivankovskoye reservoir.
Here, for a reasonable price, you can rent a spinning rod, a boat, and comfortably spend the night or have a snack.
Ozerninskoe reservoir
This reservoir is the second most popular among Moscow fishermen. Until 2011, anyone could fish on the Ozerninskoye reservoir, but after the right to use and control the reservoir, a private company acquired, which collects money from the fishermen who came to fish.
The length of this reservoir is about 29 kilometers, and the maximum depth is about 18 meters. The company that manages fishing around the Ozerninskoye reservoir monitors the ecological state of the reservoir and every year stocks it with a new generation of fish, some of which give birth to offspring.
Here you can catch representatives of the aquatic world unusual for the Moscow region - rainbow trout and even grass carp, and, of course, other fish lovers in the capital - pike, perch, pike perch and others.
On the Ozerninskoye reservoir, you can fish at night or stay the next day, spending the night in a standard room for an additional fee.
The reservoir managers provide their guests with the most comfortable conditions for fishing in winter. Fishermen come here not only from the capital, but also from nearby regions and even from Riga.
