Step 1
All manga characters are distinguished by several features that unite them - the figures resemble children in their structure, they usually have very large eyes and often a rather small mouth.
Step 2
The main tool for drawing them is a simple pencil. At the final stage of the work, the characters can be painted with colored paints or pencils.
Step 3
Draw an oval on paper, mark its center with a light stroke. This will be a sketch of your character's head, the stroke will allow you to divide it into the upper and lower halves. In place of the lower eyelids of the future eyes, make two large horizontal strokes, they will allow you to keep the proportions of the eyes and make them the same.
Step 4
Focusing on the strokes made, add alternately the upper eyelid, iris and pupil. The pupil and iris do not have to be perfectly round; even some angularity is allowed in them. The only criterion is that both eyes must have the same shape.
Step 5
Draw the nose in the middle of the face, stepping back a decent distance from the eyes. You can even add nostrils to your nose.
Step 6
The ears should be located in height between the upper eyelid and the tip of the nose, which is why it is necessary that the nose and eyes are at some distance from each other.
Step 7
To give your character a high forehead, start drawing the hair, stepping up from the eyes a fairly large distance. It is better to draw hair in strands, this will give ease to the hairstyle and the whole appearance. A couple of strands can fall on the forehead and even cover your eyes. If your hero is a girl, her hair can reach up to the neck or even shoulder blades, the boy can have a shorter haircut.
