Any do-it-yourself craft is a fascinating and developing activity. Stunningly beautiful figurines are constructed from matches, which can be presented to loved ones as a souvenir; they are used to decorate the interior of the room. You can make various masterpieces with or without glue, the main thing that is required of you is patience and accuracy.
It is necessary
- - a folding knife or wire cutters;
- - matches;
- - a coin with a face value of 2 rubles;
- - a toothpick.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your workplace. The surface you choose should be flat and smooth. Place two matches in front of you in an upright position. The distance between them should be slightly less than the length of the matches themselves. Lay another 8 pieces on top, just leave the edges of the bottom two bulging out a little.
Step 2
On top, perpendicular to the bottom row, put 8 more matches. Likewise, line up seven more rows. This design will remind you of a well. Make sure that the walls of the resulting structure are even and do not protrude, otherwise your figure will fall apart in the future. Stack so that the heads of the matches come out in a circle and you have only one row on each side.
Step 3
Place 8 more matches on the resulting walls. The heads of the matches in the upper row should be opposite to the lower one. Put 6 matches parallel to the row, and on them an ordinary coin. It is needed so that during further actions your structure does not fall apart.
Step 4
Press down gently on the coin and start inserting matches around the edges of the structure. You should have their heads at the top. Slowly pierce the entire perimeter of the walls in the same way. Squeezing a little wall with your hand, remove the coin. All matches inserted around the perimeter, carefully press in to the end so that they can press the flooring.
Step 5
Turn the resulting cube over, as it should be on the heads of the matches. Push new matches between the ends of the matches and lay a horizontal row of walls. This action, if desired, can not be done, it is only needed as strengthening the walls of the cube. From the resulting squares, you can collect various large structures, be it houses, a mill, castles, a ship, an airplane or a tank. Here everything will depend on your imagination
Step 6
For beginners, a house building workout is best. Insert matches into the corner holes and pull them up a little. Start laying the matches on the roof perpendicular to the top row. Start at the edges, alternating direction constantly. First, stack two, then four, then six, and the middle two rows - eight matches.
Step 7
Secure the roof by pushing matches between the heads. This is the hardest part of the process and requires the utmost care and patience. Decorate the resulting house with a pipe, door and windows. Rely on your imagination and create your dream hut.
Step 8
More experienced craft lovers can try making a tank. Make five identical cubes. Install one of them with the heads down. Insert a row of peeled matches from one side and bottom. The heads can be easily removed using nippers or an ordinary small knife. Add a few more matches to the resulting row and press half of them into the depths of the cube. The rest to stick around will serve you to connect with another cube.
Step 9
Fasten both squares, but do not squeeze them together, as there should be a distance between them, where you will continue to work further. In the resulting gap, start laying the half-well, which should consist of six vertical and only five horizontal matches.
Step 10
Install slanted matches and secure them neatly. Concentrate all your attention on the process of creating the tracks of the future tank. In the lowest row of one of the cubes, push five matches, and on the sides up six. Fill the resulting free space with short matches so that it is completely filled and held tightly. Lay six pieces on the bottom row and, going up, add one at a time. Make the second rear track in the same way.
Step 11
Attach the third and fourth cube, connecting them with others using peeled matches. Fill in the space between the third and fourth squares by making the top, bottom and side rows. To make it easier for you to push matches, try using a toothpick.
Step 12
Start creating the front tracks. It is best to make them stick out more than the rear ones. Do them according to the same principle, just start not with six, but with eight matches. On top of the cubes, make a small mount to which you will attach the fifth square. This will be the turret of your tank. Secure it carefully and install the cannon on it by sticking a few matches. If you wish, you can make a hatch and all kinds of drawings. The main thing is not to be afraid to spoil anything and give freedom to your imagination.
