Step 1
Our insect will be made of papier-mâché. We tear the newspaper into small pieces, soak it in a cup of water.
Step 2
Preparing the shape for the torso. It can be a regular tea or coffee cup with a round shape.
Step 3
Now we begin to shape the body. We put the pieces of newspaper in a thick layer. We form the head. In advance, we insert wire legs and antennae between the layers of paper.

Let the paper dry. Now we remove the base, carefully cut the paper along the edge with a clerical knife, glue the "bottom" with a magnet to the body.

We take paints and paint our insect. After the paint has dried, cover it with several layers of varnish. We dry it. The magnet is ready!
Step 6
For a needlewoman, you can make a needle case. There are the following materials: red and black fabric, filler, threads, needles for sewing and embroidery, scissors.
Step 7
We cut out the back of a ladybug from red fabric, from black - blanks for the back of the body, head and legs.
Step 8
We embroider wings on the back, and eyes on the head. Sew the parts, fill the needle bar with soft filler, sew up the hole.
Step 9
For ease of use, you can sew a soft hair tie to it. Then the ladybug can comfortably sit on the hand of the craftswoman.

In general, you can make a ladybug from any material at hand: beads, an old rubber ball, knit and crochet, use natural materials (halves of walnuts, shells, pebbles). It all depends only on your desire and imagination.
