Step 1
You must join your local hunting community. To do this, you need to write an application and bring two 3x4 photos. For joining you will have to pay a certain fee, its amount is set by the administration of the organization. To become a full member of the community, you must pass an exam. It includes safety rules, rules for the use of weapons, recognition of animals on which hunting is prohibited. The exam will be taken by a special committee. If you cope with the task, within two days you will be given a hunting ticket.
Step 2
It is necessary to undergo a medical commission. This can be done either in a state clinic or in specialized commercial centers. You must go to a local therapist, ophthalmologist, psychiatrist and narcologist. Each of them will indicate if you have any deviations. As a result, a medical report should be written. It will write whether your health condition allows you to use a weapon.
Step 3
Now you need to go to the district police station. It should have a special department where you can get a license to buy weapons. To obtain the necessary document, you must provide an application of the established form, where you must indicate the number of the received ticket. Also take with you a photocopy of your passport, hunting ticket, medical certificate, 2 photos, a receipt confirming the payment of the license fee.
Step 4
After you submit all the necessary documents to the licensing and permitting department, you will need to wait for the final verdict within a month. The department staff will check you for a criminal record and administrative offenses. Also, a district police officer will come to your home, write a report about how you behave at home, whether you are in conflict with neighbors, whether there is a special place in your house for storing weapons. If the results of all checks are satisfactory, in a month you will be given a license to buy a weapon.
Step 5
With this license, you must acquire a weapon within six months. In the store, the seller will indicate what type of weapon you bought. One spine will remain with him, the second with you, the third must be taken to the licensing and permitting department. In a few days, you will be given a permit to store and carry weapons. It is valid for 5 years.
