In order for everyone to immediately guess that you are a witch at a costume party, it is enough to come with a hat and a broom. But it is better to think over other details of the costume and complement the image with accessories and makeup.

Step 1
Choose a shirt or long sleeve jersey. Give preference to dark clothes - gray or black. Wear a vest over it, if available. Sew on the vest and blouse of small plush mice, spiders. A black plush cat with a long body and tail and yellow eyes, nestled on your shoulders, will look funny. If you think black doesn't suit you, create a witch costume in a different color - purple, dark green, or cherry. The main thing is that all the details of the costume are in harmony with each other.
Step 2
Sew or buy a wide skirt below the knee. You can borrow this wardrobe item from your grandmother. Decorate the skirt with large patches of colored fabric, just grab them around the edges with deliberately large stitches. Decorate the hem with embroidered cobwebs. A colorful scarf can be tied over the skirt at the hips so that the costume does not look too gloomy.
Step 3
Make the main element that will distinguish you from the unkemptly dressed woman, namely a wide-brimmed hat. It can be sewn from heavy, dark fabric. For the margins, make a circle pattern with a hole for the head and a tall cone crown. It is better not to process the edges of the hat, but rather pull out a few threads to make the hat look old. Attach a buckle on the crown, attach a thread to the brim of the hat, on which the spider will dangle.
Step 4
Wear stockings or nylon tights with nicely shaped holes. Wear dark, stable heels with large buckles on your feet. Pick up accessories that match the costume - a broom, bags of herbs for potions.
Step 5
Do your makeup in the style of smoky eyes, use black and gray shadows. If you wish, glue a fake wart to your nose, or just draw a mole. Loosen your hair, ruffle it, place dry grass between the curls, as if you were just preparing a potion.
