Since ancient times, people have been afraid of those who, in their opinion, possesses supernatural powers, owns magic. A person fell ill, a house burned down or a cow fell ill - the witches and sorcerers were blamed for everything, and therefore they came up with various ways of protecting against their actions.

To ward off the witch from your home, you can go out to meet her with an ordinary kitchen knife in hand, while the knife should be pointed towards the witch with the blade up. Pretend that you were walking from the kitchen and forgot to leave the knife, if you really have a witch in front of you, then you will not see her again in your house. In addition, a sewing needle can protect you. Stick it somewhere near the door with the tip up, and the witch will not come to you again.
Step 2
To protect the home from witches and sorcerers, people have long used nettle leaves, wormwood and incense. Frankincense can be purchased in church shops, nettles and wormwood collected in the field. The collected raw materials need to be dried and fumigated with them, it is believed that the evil spirits are afraid of one smell of these herbs.
Step 3
One of the many effective ways to protect against witchcraft is the use of salt. You need to carry some regular table salt in your pocket. After talking with a person suspected of witchcraft, you need to turn your back on him, imperceptibly throw a handful of salt out of your pocket and, without turning around, quickly leave.

From the evil eye and spoilage, people often use small pins, pinning them with the point upwards to the clothes from the inside. Many believe that witches are afraid of crosses and images, but this is not entirely true, they say that manipulating with pins is much more effective. It is also advised to wear amulets and charms from the effects of witches, amulets are charged using special rituals, without which these items do not work.
Step 5
The Christian faith does not welcome the wearing of amulets and talismans by parishioners. Priests advise using only those means that are allowed by the church to protect against unfriendly people: incense, holy water, crosses, images, and to protect your home, place an icon over the front door. The most powerful prayer that protects the believer from the evil eye and corruption, from witches and sorcerers, is "Psalm 90". It is recommended that you read it every morning before leaving home, and the holy power of prayer will protect you throughout the day.
