Over the years of filming, the bright, uncompromising and charismatic mentor of this show has acquired a whole army of female fans. Their interest is especially fueled by the fact that Miguel does not advertise his personal life, but in all interviews calls himself a free man, who still has his favorite job in the first place.

During this period, Miguel is in the prime of his creative and physical strength. He turns 37 in 2019. Despite his exotic appearance, the choreographer was born and raised in the Moscow region, and owes his origin to his father, a native of Cuba. In the USSR, Miguel's father, who was a military officer, came to refresher courses. As often happens, he started an affair with a Russian beauty, and soon the couple had a son, Sergei. Mom gave the child her last name - Shesteperov. So, in fact, the famous artist has passport details that are quite familiar to the Russian ear (with the exception of the middle name). And Miguel, by the way, was his father's name, and the choice of this pseudonym became a kind of tribute to a close relative.
After completing his studies, the Cuban officer returned to his homeland, and his beloved remained in the USSR, since it was difficult with the stay of foreign citizens in the country, as well as with the departure of Soviet people abroad. Miguel was raised by his mother and grandmother. From childhood, the boy showed interest in the art of dancing, even attended a ballet studio for three years. At school, he studied secondary, and to continue his education he chose, of course, a choreographic school in the capital. In addition, Miguel also has a diploma from the Moscow Institute of Culture in his hometown of Khimki.
The young dancer began his professional career in the musical Metro, and continued in other equally famous productions - Notre Dame de Paris and Romeo and Juliet. Few music lovers remember Miguel for his participation in the popular Star Factory project in the fifth season. According to the artist, he did not plan to develop as a singer, but went to a television show more for media fame.
When the Star Factory tour ended, Miguel resumed his choreography. He directed dance numbers for movies, video clips, fashion shows, advertisements, concert programs of famous artists. He returned to his television career on the air of Ukrainian channels. Miguel participated in the creation, launch and filming of projects "Maidan's" and "Showmastgowan".
Well, in 2014 on TNT started the show "Dances". The audience liked the project so much that the fifth season ended in December 2018. Only Miguel remained an unchanged member of the jury throughout the seasons. The show brought him truly popular love. Recently, the talented choreographer regularly conducts master classes at the PROTANTSY center, organized by the creative team of the dance project.
In 2016, Miguel tried his hand at the theatrical stage as a producer and creator of the play "The Returners" based on the play "Ghosts" by Henrik Ibsen. In the wake of the success of the first production, the same creative team created its prequel - "The Faceless".
Miguel's personal life
The personal life of the famous choreographer interests journalists no less than his creative projects. Unfortunately, the artist clearly does not intend to let strangers into this territory, which he has repeatedly said in an interview. All the novels that the press attributed to him, he resolutely denied. For example, as soon as several pictures of Miguel and the participant of "Dances" Anastasia Vyadro appeared on the Internet, they were immediately credited with a novel, although the girl is married and has a daughter. The choreographer noted to this that joint photographs of two people are not at all proof of their romantic relationship.
Miguel admits that he is still alone and completely absorbed in work, although he enjoys success with women, without false modesty. To improve his personal life, he was repeatedly offered to become the protagonist of another show on TNT - "The Bachelor". But the artist is not a supporter of public building of relationships, for him love and feelings are too subtle matters that should not be put on public display.
In addition, Miguel does not consider himself a show business star and does not pursue popularity. Much more important for him is to do what he loves, work on interesting projects, and recognition is just a side effect of the creative process. By the way, the choreographer is not very interested in watching his work in the recording, so he did not watch the Dancing show on TV. The artist is simply confident in his behavior and actions, completely trusts the team with which he works, so he does not waste time on re-studying familiar material.
Miguel calls the guarantee of his popularity among the fair sex not only an exotic appearance, but also spiritual qualities. He considers himself quite cheerful and sociable enough to grab attention and impress in any company. For a choreographer, the wording “a real man” is primarily associated with caring for a woman. According to the choreographer, external beauty is not the most important thing; self-awareness is much more important. If a woman loves herself and takes care of herself, she will never be alone. In addition, Miguel is attracted by bright extraordinary personalities, which are interesting to watch. A real revelation for him was a trip to Los Angeles, where such women are in the majority. But now, positive changes can be found among women living in capital cities.
