An amateur game can last a long time if the players have the patience, but in competitions chess players play with a clock. In order not to lose in time or in time trouble not to make mistakes, it is necessary to develop the skills of fast play.
It is necessary
- - chess clock;
- - a collection of sketches and problems;
- - magnetic chess.
Instructions
Step 1
Play amateur blitz tournaments where you have five minutes per game to relieve stress. In this case, stress manifests itself in a cramped internal state, which is associated with an inability to think quickly. This makes it difficult to get good results in serious competition. Amateur blitz tournaments will help develop high-speed decision-making skills. Practice every week and you will notice a change.
Step 2
Solve problems and sketches in time. For these exercises, find 5-7 chess problems. Allow no more than five minutes for the solution. Once the time is up, immediately tackle another task, even if the previous goal has not been achieved. Then move on to the next one - and so on in a circle until you complete all the exercises. This will help you to feel the boundaries of time intervals.
Step 3
Play without a watch, but in a limited time environment. Carry a small magnetic chess set that you can use while waiting in lines and similar circumstances. Since time is limited by the natural movement of the line, you will have to move faster to complete the game.
Step 4
Find a player who makes moves quickly by virtue of character. There are people who do not have the patience to play for a long time. They are emotional, quick-thinking and want the same from a partner. Observe the person during the game and try to imitate the behavior so that you feel relaxed when playing quickly.
Step 5
Design chess-based games with special conditions. One of the games: each opponent makes two, three or four moves in a row, but with different pieces. It is not like chess, because the events on the board move faster. Accordingly, thinking accelerates, which must be trained for success in ordinary games.
