Master the Solo Unlike the first way to play, the solo is the hardest part to play. This requires weeks of training, and ideally requires several months. Solo playing is all about playing notes quickly. The guitarist's fingers slide all over the fretboard within the first three strings. Start training the scale. Step 4
Practice the guitar picking Unlike the classical guitar, the electric guitar does not pluck the string with your fingers, but with a pick. Therefore, the sound is special. Try hitting the strings with your fingers and a pick. You will notice the difference immediately. When playing fifths, the pick is struck on those strings that are clamped in the given chord.
