Step 1
The guitar can act as a solo or accompaniment instrument. Recently, guitars have been released with an eye to both the style of music and the role of an instrument in a group, in particular, rhythm guitars have a richer sound.
If you want to master both functions of the guitar and are going to start with accompaniment, then remember that there are two main types of accompaniment on the guitar: striking and busting. The technique of solo playing is much more complex and varied. As a rule, the solo instrument plays a monophonic melody, so at the moment only one string is involved, only one sound. This means that its timbre, the technique of its extraction should be such that the listener listens to you with an open mouth. Solo playing techniques are bend (the playing string is pulled back and forth across the neck), slide (the finger slides along the string to the head, then to the body), tapping, many trills, etc. In addition, you can select effects on the processor to give the guitar tone a specific color.
