Valve Anti-Cheat bans, or VACs, cannot be removed by definition, unlike server admin bans. All stories about the allegedly removed VAC ban do not correspond to reality, and the only thing that a user can do in such a case is to purchase a new account.
Instructions
Step 1
Valve Software is known for its online content delivery system for Counter Srtike, Half-Life and many more. The user receives a key when purchasing a licensed copy of the selected game and subsequently has the ability to access it and other activated games, receive updates and information about upcoming releases, get a list of some servers and certain game modifications.
Step 2
The VAC symbol is a shield. The Anti-Cheat function implies the impossibility of using dishonest methods of playing the game, which give an unjustified advantage over other players, on the protected servers of Steam. The VAC system works in a fully automatic mode and the company's support service does not consider it necessary to respond either to messages about dishonest players or to requests to remove the ban. Moreover, this applies not only to the game in which the ban was introduced, but to the entire account in the entire line of games. On the other hand, the use of secure servers is only possible when playing the Steam version of the game with the Steam client installed, i.e. unofficial no-Steam servers are not in the VAC's sphere of interest.
Step 3
Essentially, the VAC is a client module that verifies that the unique CRC numbers assigned to each game file match and informs Valve's main servers when an unauthorized component has been launched. This information serves as the basis for the application of the cheater flag in the player's account and starts the countdown process until the moment of the complete ban of the game. This interval is on average about a month and is intended to make it impossible to determine the specific dishonest act used.
Step 4
Please note that only changes to the game executable files and dynamically loaded libraries can lead to a VAC ban. The use of chat applications, skins or online modifications is perfectly acceptable and does not affect the legality of the game.
