The one-piece "bat" blouse practically does not go out of fashion. It looks stylish with trousers and a skirt, and can be worn with a formal suit. Such a versatile piece of clothing can be sewn even without a pattern. Similar clothes were worn in medieval Japan, and they were sewn from a whole piece of fabric. But if this is the first time you took up such sewing or are going to sew from silk, then build a pattern better.

Step 1
Take measurements. You need to know the half-girth of the chest, the length of the sleeve from the base of the neck to the bottom edge, the half-girth of the neck, the length of the product, the length of the yoke and the half-girth of the wrist or that part of the arm where the sleeve will end. Divide the half-girth of the neck by 2 more.
Step 2
Lay your graph paper vertically. Put point A at the intersection of the left white edge and one of the thick lines. Set aside 1/2 of the half-girth of the neck from it to the right. Put point B. From it to the right, set aside the length of the sleeve and mark the point with the letter B. From point B, set the half-girth of the wrist down. This will be point G.
Step 3
From point A downward, set the length of the yoke. Put point D. From it, measure the half-girth of the chest to the right. You will get point E. Connect points E and G with a straight line. Find its middle and put point O. From it, set aside the perpendicular, set aside 15-17 cm on it and designate it as O1. Through points E, O1 and G by an arc, the convex part of which is directed to the left.
Step 4
The neckline on the back will be slightly smaller than on the shelf. Therefore, on the pattern, make a drawing for the back, and when cutting, expand the cutout on the shelf by 2 cm. From point A, lay 4 cm down. Connect the resulting point with point B with an arc. Cut out a pattern..
Step 5
For the belt, cut out a rectangle the length of which is equal to the full waist circumference, plus 2–3 cm for a loose fit, plus seam allowances. Calculate the width by subtracting the length of the yoke from the total length of the blouse. Multiply the result by 2 and add allowances.
Step 6
Fold the fabric 4 times. The line of the middle of the shelf (or back, as you like) should coincide with the fold along the lobe. Depending on the pattern option, either align the shoulder line with the fold along the transverse thread, or cut the shoulder at an angle. Circle the pattern, leaving small seam allowances.
Step 7
Cut out the details. There should be 2. Determine which shelf will be and which will be the back. On the shelf, increase the neckline by 2 cm. You can make a cut in the center of the back to make it easier to handle the neck with a tape.
Step 8
Fold the belt in half lengthwise with the right side out. Iron the fold. Try on a belt. If necessary, mark the places for the side grooves. This is usually required if the yoke is short. Stitch the grooves.
Step 9
Treat the neck with a bias tape. If you made a cut in the back, stitch it up. Fold the pieces by aligning the side slices. Sweep the shelf with the back and stitch.
Step 10
Sew coarse stitches along the bottom of the yoke, or sew with a needle forward seam by hand. In the second case, it is necessary to make smaller stitches. Gather a yoke. Baste the belt to it, evenly distributing the folds. Sew on the belt.
Step 11
Finish the bottom of the sleeves. If they are long enough, it is enough to simply hem them, bending them 2 times to the wrong side. It happens that the fabric is narrow, and the sleeve wants to be made more authentic. Cut and sew the cuffs to the desired length.
