In cold winter or rainy autumn, you really want your feet to be warm. Household knitted slippers are the best for this purpose. Hand-made, simple or emphatically feminine, they will give a feeling of coziness and comfort.

- For knitting cozy home slippers: hook number 4, acrylic yarn (250 m / 100 g) purple - 10 g, blue - 20 g, brown - 40 g.
- For knitting elegant home slippers: hook No. 3, 5 or No. 4, about 90 g of multi-colored woolen threads (in the example, beige and blue threads are used).
Instructions
Step 1
Start knitting cozy slippers from the sole. To do this, type a chain of air loops with a brown thread. The length of the chain should be equal to 2/3 of the length of the sole.
Step 2
Knit in a circle with single crochets, add loops evenly on the heel and toe. As a result, you should end up with a flat oval.
Step 3
Stop adding loops and continue working according to the scheme: from every second loop, knit 2 double crochets. In the next row, knit the crochet stitches between the two pairs of crochets in the bottom row. Each subsequent row, start knitting with 3 lifting loops, changing the color of the yarn from brown to blue and vice versa.
Step 4
Knit the upper part of the sock with a slipper in the same way as the sole. Make a chain of chain stitches. Its length should be equal to 1/3 of the length of the foot. Next, knit in a circle with single crochets. Add loops evenly around the edges. As a result, you should end up with a flat oval.
Step 5
Take a purple yarn and connect the top of the sock with the main part of the slipper with a “step harness”.
Step 6
It is also very easy to knit elegant home slippers. First, decide on the size. To do this, cut six identical squares from the fabric and fasten them together. If the model of the slipper fits, take the size of the square as the main one.
Step 7
Tie four squares for the top of the slipper. Choose a pattern to your taste. You can also knit with regular loops. To make the slippers look bright, alternate the colors of the threads. A product made of multi-colored knitted squares will also look beautiful.
Step 8
For the sole, make two squares. It is better to knit them with a monochromatic thread with the addition of synthetic.
Step 9
Connect all parts firmly. First, fold the corners of the two sides of the square. Sew the top center square to them. Then connect it to the side pieces and one bottom square of the sole. Sew on the backing at the end.
Step 10
Decorate the slippers with a border and various decorative elements. For example, flowers or butterflies. It will be interesting to look at a lace threaded along the edge of the slipper.
