Recently, baubles are gaining immense popularity - stylish and original jewelry. This simple little thing can be a nice gift. But it becomes even more valuable if you make it yourself. It is not difficult and does not require any cost. You need scissors, colorful threads, safety pins, and, of course, a little imagination.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to start weaving baubles, you need to master the main knots. There are only two of them - a right loop knot and a right turn. There are two more additional knots, which are performed on the basis of the two main ones and are their mirror images, i.e. the left loop knot and the left turn.

Step 2

In the work, two threads are used - the working one, which knots are knitted and the main one, on which the knots are made. During the weaving of the pattern, the working and main threads will constantly change places and functions.

Step 3

First you need to learn how to tie the knots correctly. Take the warp thread in one hand and pull it tight. With your other hand, take a working thread, make one loop with it, then the other and tighten. This is the main knot of the weave.

Step 4

Let's try to learn how to tie with the right loop knot. Take the first and second strings from the left. Pull on the end thread, which will be the main thread. Wrap the working thread around it from left to right, pull the end of the thread through the resulting loop, and slide the knot up. In the same way, make a second knot and push it tightly to the first. If you did everything correctly, the work and main threads are now swapped.

The left loop knot is made in a mirror image. The working thread on the main thread is made two loops from right to left.

Step 5

Make a right turn - on the main working thread, make a right knot, and then a left one. We also make a left turn, only in the opposite direction.

Step 6

And now let's try to apply all the knowledge gained on one of the simplest and most classic weaves - a bracelet.

Step 7

Take an even number of threads, preferably eight or more, so that the bracelet is not too thin. The thread should be more than 4 times the planned size of the bracelet. Usually a meter thread is used. If you don't have enough thread, then you can neatly tie it.

Step 8

Secure the threads with safety pins so that the bracelet does not twist during operation. Remember that the threads must be laid out in the order in which the colors will be located in the finished product.

Step 9

Take the thread farthest to the left and tie two right loop knots on each thread. First, tie a knot on the thread at number 2, then on the next thread, and so on until the end. At the end of the work, thread # 1 should go to the right side and become the extreme right thread.

Step 10

Next, take the leftmost thread (No. 2), and do the same thing - tie all the threads in order until it becomes the extreme on the right side. This is how the entire bracelet is woven.

Step 11

If you weave in the opposite direction, you get a completely different pattern. So you can experiment and come up with your own weaving methods. The main thing is to give free rein to your imagination.
