Step 1
To crochet a hat, you need to be able to knit air loops, simple columns and double crochets, which will form the pattern. According to the scheme described below, you can knit both a warm hat and its summer version. Make a chain of 6 chain stitches and close them in a circle. At the beginning of each row, be sure to complete 2 chain stitches, which will count as the first one in the row. This will maintain the height of each new row, and the circles will turn out to be even.
Step 2
1 row. Tie 13 double crochets into the resulting ring. In order to complete each of them, make a yarn over, insert the hook under the ring of air loops, grab the thread, pull it out and knit through the loop and yarn at the same time. Knit the resulting new loop again together with the one that was originally on the hook. The first row, along with the initial loop, will consist of 14 columns.
Step 3
2 row. Knit according to the pattern: * 1 double crochet, 1 stitch *. 3 row. Follow the same pattern, but now add loops. To do this, work according to the scheme: * 1 double crochet in a similar column 2 rows, a double crochet in a loop next to it (air loop 2 rows), 1 double crochet in a similar column 2 rows *. This will end up with an increase of 7 loops.
Step 4
4 row. Now add stitches in every fourth double crochet. 5 row. Work this row without adding loops (to round the hat). 6 row. Repeat the increase in the loops as in the 4th row, that is, in every fourth column. 7th row. Knit without changing the number of loops.
Step 5
8 row. Repeat adding stitches again in every fourth column. 9-10 rows. Follow the pattern without changing the number of loops. 11-12 rows. Take threads of a different color and complete these rows with double crochets according to figure 12-14 rows. Knit them again with the yarn of the original shade. As a result, a strip of contrasting color will appear on the cap.
Step 6
For tying the hat, use the "rachis step". To do this, follow a simple column, but not in the traditional direction - from right to left, but vice versa. This will create a neat edge with fine jagged edges. To decorate the product, tie flowers in the same color scheme and sew them on the side. If you make a couple of such ornaments, then you can attach them symmetrically on the sides, using them as "ears". Since the hat itself has a large number of "holes", such devices will perfectly cover the child's ears, while remaining decorative elements.
