Instructions

Step 1

Operating procedure. Cut out two parts from the main fabric: two from the lining, and two from the insulation (if you are sewing a hood for a coat, jacket). It is better if you glue the details of the upper hood with doublerin so that the hood keeps its shape.

Step 2

Glue the glue edges along all the cuts. Stitch along the neckline and on top of the dart on all details. Then fold the main fabric parts so that the right side is inside, sew them together. Lining and insulation are sewn in the same way.

Step 3

Sew together all three parts: main, lining and insulation. To do this, fold the lined and insulated hood and sew in a circle around the outside.

Step 4

Leave a small hole in the seam on the lining so that the hood can be turned inside out. Turn out and grind around the outer circle and bottom if the hood will buckle.

Step 5

Make loops (cut and overcast), sew buttons to your coat or jacket. If you want the hood to be sewn on, sew the upper part of the hood to the main product.
