This costume consists of four pieces of clothing: a skirt, an apron, a blouse and a red riding hood.

Step 1
Choose the fabric for all the elements of the suit. It is best to take a bright fabric for the skirt, plain for the blouse, dense red fabric for the cap, and for the apron - contrasting with the skirt. Do not forget to choose the right fittings.
Step 2
Open your skirt. The "sun" skirt will be a suitable model. Take measurements: waist circumference and skirt length. Draw 2 circles on the fabric - inner and outer. The inner circle is for the waist. Do not forget to include seam allowances when cutting.
Step 3
Fold up the hem of the skirt and sew. In the belt, also bend it by 2-3 cm, sew, leaving a hole for the elastic. Insert the elastic.
Step 4
An apron is a detail of a costume that adds elegance. To sew an apron, make a semi-oval with ties from the fabric. Overlock or zigzag the edges of the fabric. Decorate the apron with lace, braid, or flounces from the same fabric.
Step 5
Start with your blouse. It is best to take a ready-made blouse and change it a little if necessary. Shorten the sleeves, make "lantern" sleeves. Hide all unnecessary, decorating with lace or braid. Puffy lantern sleeves made of bright fabric will perfectly complement the look.
Step 6
The beanie is the key element of the costume. A great option is a hat with a brim. This model is distinguished by large (from ear to ear) fields. Make a pattern to fit your child's head. The margins in it will look like a rectangle, the bottom of the cap will look like an oval. Sew all the details of the hat, process the edges.
Step 7
A wicker basket with flowers covered with an embroidered napkin will be a suitable addition to the costume. White knee-highs, which can be bought at any store, are also an important detail. Well, Little Red Riding Hood's costume is ready. The finishing touch to the look is the hairstyle. Large, curly curls will add even more charm to the young lady.
