If you want to make an elegant red hat, buy number 4 thread and knitting needles from the store. Download a knitting pattern for a beret on the Internet and start the process. If you want to make a simple hat, buy red cotton threads from the store and crochet the hat.

Alternatively, you can take your favorite old hat and paint it red. To do this, prepare a red dye that you can buy in a store, 500 ml of alcohol, 5 g of urea, 500 ml of water and acetic acid - 50 ml. Prepare the necessary utensils, you will need 2 pots, in one you will prepare the paint, the other is needed to prepare hot water.
Step 4
Approx. 20 gr. pour dye with acetic acid, mix well, then gradually add hot water, stir thoroughly. Put the resulting solution on the stove and boil for 7 minutes, until the dye is completely dissolved. When the solution has cooled, add alcohol and urea solution, mix thoroughly and let it brew for an hour. After that, pass the finished paint, if necessary through cheesecloth, so that it is filtered.
Step 5
Put on gloves, take your old hat and dip it in the prepared paint, leave it for a couple of minutes so that all the fibers of the fabric are dyed, then carefully remove and squeeze. Lay a bag on the floor and put a hat there, for efficiency, leave it to dry for a day.
