The horror film by Oren Peli was filmed in just one week at the director's own house, which did not prevent the film from collecting almost 200 million US dollars at the worldwide box office. According to the plot of the picture, a young couple suspects that something supernatural lives in their new house, and sets up video cameras to monitor everything that happens in the house at night. Another feature of this horror movie is that it is filmed in a mock documentary style.
